Participating law firms are independent businesses that advertise with us. They are not our employees, partners or agents, and we do not supervise their work.

How is the firm chosen for your request?

Selection is mechanical. We use only two things: the state you are in and the practice area you select. Your request goes to one firm covering that combination — we do not send the same request to several firms. We do not read your case and decide who is 'best', and we do not rank, score or grade firms.

Do you recommend or endorse any firm?

No. We do not endorse, recommend, evaluate or vouch for any law firm, and we do not assess whether a firm is qualified to handle your matter. You should evaluate any lawyer yourself before hiring them.

How are you paid?

Participating firms pay us an advertising fee. That fee does not depend on whether you hire a lawyer, whether your case succeeds, or how much you may recover. We do not share in any legal fee.

What if no firm is available?

If no participating firm covers your state and practice area, we will tell you and we will not forward your information.
